Knoxville, Tennessee- The Golden Tigers cross-country team competed at the NAIA Challenge on Friday. 

Freshman Averie Akin continued her solid freshman campaign with a personal best time of 19:38 to place 41st overall out of 169 runners. Fellow freshman Gladys Bianco finished with a time of 21:48 to finish in 110th place.

Other Golden Tiger finishers include sophomore Jaeva Ridley  (25:50), freshman Alondra Rivera f(26:07), freshman Mikhailah Hayes (26:26) and freshman Leslie Cabrera (29:06). 

The squad next races at the AAC Championships on November 3rd.
