Cross Country Places Eleventh at AAC Championships
Columbia, South Carolina- The Brenau cross country team placed eleventh at the 2022 Appalachian Cross Country Championships this past Friday.
The Golden Tigers continued to show improvement as the team posted a total team time of 2:13.17 and an average team time of 26:39.
Individually, freshman Hedvig Lind paced the team with a season-best time of 23:48. Fellow freshman Jaeva Ridley ran 25:39 and senior Kayland Thomason added a time of 27:26.
Seniors Jayda Burkett and Mitchel Alex ran 27:34 and 28:48 respectively, while freshman Adriunna Earl added a time of 30.58 and sophomore Vanessa Providence ran 37:34.
Milligan (Tenn.) won the team title with a total team time of 1:30.47 and freshman Ellen-Mary Kearney won the individual title in a time of 17:28.
Montreat (NC), Truett McConnell (Ga.), Columbia (S.C.) and SCAD-Atlanta (Ga.) round out the top five team finishers.
