Golf Wraps Up Fall Season at Converse Invitational

Spartanburg, South Carolina- he Brenau golf team placed ninth at the Converse Fall Women's Invite played at Carolina Country Club on Tuesday.

Due to inclement weather, the team only played one round as the squad posted 336 (+48) on the day.

Individually, freshman Eryn Blakeley posted an 80 (+7) finish in a tie for 8th place to post her first-career top-ten finish.

Junior Ylenia Alcibiade Bennasar also had a solid showing as she shot an 80 (+8) to finish tied for 14th, while senior McKenzie McRee shot an 88 (+16) to place T47th.

Fellow senior Haylee Rhodes and sophomore Kaylee Stickney each shot 89 (+17) to tie for 51st.

Coker (S.C.) won the team title with an overall team score of 316 (+28).

The tournament marked the final fall competition for the semester for the Golden Tigers.
