Cross Country Runs at NAIA Appalachian Challenge

Knoxville, Tennessee- The Brenau cross country team competed at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge, hosted by Tennessee Wesleyan University on Friday.

In a race consisting of only NAIA runners from the Appalachian region, the Golden Tigers continued to show improvement as freshman Hedvig Lind paced the team with a time of 24:03. Fellow freshman Adriunna Earl ran 27:52 and senior Mitchel Alex finished close behind with a time of 29:39.

The team will wrap up the 2022 season at the Appalachian Athletic Conference championships on November 4th in Challenge in Columbia, S.C.
