Cross Country Competes at Royals Challenge

Charlotte, North Carolina- Members of the Brenau cross country team competed at the Royals Cross Country Challenge at McAlpin Park on Friday.

In a deep and talented field of runners, a pair of freshmen led the Golden Tigers as Jaeva Ridley paced the squad with a time of 24:35.60, while Hedvig Lind ran a time of 25:01.90.

Senior Jayda Burkett added a time of 8:05.80 and freshman Adriunna Earl ran 28:50.20.

According to head coach Byron Kramer, "We are improving as a team and despite the heat, Hedvig Lind and Audrianna Earl ran two personal bests and Jaeva Ridley continues to be our top runner throughout the early season."

The team next races at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge in Knoxville, Tennessee on October 21st.
