Track Competes at McGarey Invitational
Kennesaw, Georgia- The Brenau track and field team posted numerous strong performances and an eighth place finish at the Don McGarey Invitational, hosted by Kennesaw State University on Friday and Saturday.
Senior TyLeeah Maddox had a solid, all-around performance at the invitational, highlighted by a third place finish in the high jump (1.60m). She added a 13th place finish in the long jump, (5.13m) a tenth place finish in the 100 hurdles (15.66) and a 19th place finish in the shot put (10.22m).
The 4x100 relay team of Shatrice Dixon, Oluwatomisin John, Talara Harper and Nathalia Rowe also had a nice showing by placing fourth overall in a time of 48.80.

Host Kennesaw State won the women's meet, while Indiana Tech, Lee (Tenn.) University, Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) and Life (Ga.) rounded out the top five finishers.
The squad next takes to the track at the SWU Invitational on April 2nd in Central, South Carolina.
