Serna Signs with Cross Country for 2021-22

The Brenau University track and field team and head coach Byron Kramer announce the signing of Amaranta Serna to the 2021-22 signing class.

Serna, the daughter of Veronica Trejo, is a student-athlete from Rabun County High School in Tiger, Ga. where she ran both cross country and track. During her prep career, Serna was a four-time state qualifier in cross country and helped her team finish as state runners-up. In track, she was a three-time state qualifier that competed in the 800, 1600 and 4 x 400 relay.

When asked about her commitment to Brenau, Serna said, "I am very thankful and blessed I can continue my running career as a Brenau Golden Tiger!"

Serna plans on majoring in psychology at Brenau.
