Brenau University's Audra Cochran is included in the list of student athletes to receive this recognition, having just completed her running career for the Golden Tigers by becoming the first runner in program history to run under 20 minutes in a 5K race. Cochran acheived that feat at the SSAC Championship meet.
"This program is certainly going to miss Audra," said Coach Susan McIntyre. "She has left a permanent mark and has set the standard high for all future runners at Brenau, both athletically and academically. We wish her well in all her future endeavors."
