Cochran Leads the Way at Eye Opener Invitational

Spartanburg, SC- The Brenau cross country team competed in the Eye Opener Invitational today and Junior Audra Cochran led the way for the Tigers by finishing 38th out of 105 runners with a time of 22:26 for the 5K race.Regina Ogechi was next for BU coming in at the 49th spot with a time of 22:51. Sophomore Maria Gonzalez finished 62nd (23:34) and close behind was Junior Shkurte Ejupi with a time of 23:46 (66th). Monica Muchene ran in her first race of the season and finished 71st with a 24:10 and Freshman Ashley McCoy ran her best time with a 76th place and 24:20. The Tigers will travel to Louisville, KY next week for another big race.
