Volleyball Receives 2025 AAC Postseason Accolades
Waleska, Georgia- Members of the Brenau volleyball team received 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) volleyball athletic and academic postseason honors, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Junior Nathalia Quintero led the Golden Tigers with a 2025 AAC Volleyball First-Team nod for her performance during the season. The setter finished second in the AAC in assists per set (8.34) and also posted 204 total digs during the regular season, which was third on the team.
A pair of Golden Tigers also received 2025 AAC Volleyball Second-Team All-Conference performers as Claire Beckman and Ashlyn Browning were both recognized for their outstanding play during the 2025 campaign.
Beckman, a junior middle blocker, ranked 2nd among all AAC performers in hitting percentage (.358) and eighth in blocks per set (0.77). The Cleveland, Ga. native also posted a team-best 71 blocks on the season.
Browning, an outside hitter, received her first All-Conference nod for her stellar play during her junior campaign. The Flowery Branch, Ga. native ranked 6th in the AAC in kills per set (2.80), 8th in total attacks per set (7.94), and11th in total kills (252).
Freshman Alyssa Evans was also selected as a 2025 AAC Volleyball All-Freshman performer in her inaugural season as a Golden Tiger. Evans posted 2.02 kills per set and 2.46 digs per set, which ranked fourth and second on the team, respectively. Evans also posted a career best 20 kills and added 13 digs in a win over Tennessee Wesleyan earlier this season.
Beckman and Browning also joined teammates Lauryn Kroening, Dallas Morse, Lola Pruitt, Layla Turner, Hannah Werner, and Madelynn Woodard on the 2025 AAC Volleyball All-Academic team. Team members are recognized for their academic excellence and recipients of All-Academic honors must maintain a minimum of an overall 3.25 cumulative grade point average and have achieved at least sophomore status.
Additionally, graduate student Madelynn Woodard was selected as a 2025 AAC Volleyball Champions of Character team member. Champions of Character team members best represent the NAIA's Five Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship and Servant Leadership.
