Gainesville, Georgia- The Brenau volleyball team defeated Columbia (SC) College in three sets in an Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup on Tuesday.
The Golden Tigers rolled through three sets (25-20, 25-20, 25-20) as junior Ashlyn Browning led the attack with 14 kills and a blistering .440 hitting percentage. Junior Malone Davis added 8 kills and 4 digs, while sophomore setter Nathalia Quintero posted 23 assists.
Defensively, junior libero Dallas Morse had 19 digs, while sophomore Jomaris Maldonado had seven digs.
Columbia's Destiny Brown led the visitors with 9 kills.
Brenau (4-6 overall, 2-3 AAC) next faces non-conference opponent Spartanburg Methodist (10-10 overall) on Friday at 6:30 pm.
