Enright Receives 2022 NAIA Volleyball All-American Honors
Kansas City, Missouri-The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) named outside hitter Mary Ellen Enright as a 2022 NAIA Women’s Volleyball All-American, the national office announced on Friday.
The All-American designation is the first in Brenau volleyball history and caps off a stellar overall season for the Golden Tigers volleyball team.
Enright proved to be a dominant offensive force as an outside hitter both nationally and in conference play. The Cumming, Ga. native led the NAIA in kills per set (4.75) and was sixth in the nation in total kills (508). In Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) play, Enright was first in kills per set and second in total kills and was honored as a 2022 AAC First-Team performer.
Statistically, Enright also led the nation in total attacks (1390) and was ranked in the top-20 in hitting percentage (.209), service aces (32), service aces per set (0.30) and receptions (632).
