Volleyball Sweeps St. Andrews in an AAC Matchup

Laurinburg, North Carolina- The Brenau volleyball team swept St. Andrews (N.C.) University in three sets (25-22, 25-15, 21-21) in Appalachian Athletic Conference competition this past Friday.

Senior Mary Ellen Enright led all hitters with 21 kills and added eight digs, while setter Gabrielle Hogle had 29 assists and 12 digs.

Junior Chloe Bennett added 9 kills and senior Julieanne Saliba led a solid defensive effort with 14 digs.

The Golden Tigers posted a .229 hitting percentage as the squad swept the season series against the Knights after defeating them 3-0 earlier this season in Gainesville.

Brenau (7-12 overall, 5-6 AAC) next hosts #21 Columbia International (S.C.) University (20-6 overall, 10-0 AAC) on Tuesday at 6:30 pm eastern.
