Point Slips Past Volleyball in AAC Competition

West Point, Georgia- The Brenau volleyball team struggled to maintain consistent offense as the Golden Tigers fell in three sets to Point (Ga.) University in an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) match.

The sluggish Golden Tigers never led in the match as the host Skyhawks held a .347 to .141 hitting advantage.

Brenau managed only one player with double digit kills as sophomore Chloe Bennett led the Brenau attack with a season-high 10 kills. Junior Mary Ellen Enright added eight kills and setters Gabrielle Hogle and Sydney Norton combined for 27 assists.

Defensively, junior libero Julieanne Saliba posted 12 digs.

Brenau (10-10 overall, 5-5 AAC) next hosts St. Andrews (NC) University (5-18 overall, 5-5 AAC) on Friday at 6:30 pm.
