Volleyball Players Receive AAC Postseason Awards
Kingsport, Tennessee- Two members of the Brenau volleyball team were recognized by the Appalachian Athletic Conference for their athletic and academic achievements, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Junior Kayleigh Reece and sophomore Rachel Hodges were each recognized as AAC All-Academic performers for their academic achievements. Student-athletes must maintain a minimum of a 3.25 and have achieved sophomore or higher status to be considered for this honor.
Reece also was the team's Champions of Character honoree for the 2019 season. Champions of Character team members best represent the NAIA's Five Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship and Servant Leadership.
