Volleyball Loses Two on Road

The Brenau volleyball team lost two matches, falling to Union (Ky.) College and Cumberlands (Ky.) in Barbourville, Kentucky on Saturday.
Appalachian Athletic Conference opponent Union College swept Brenau 10-25, 15-25, 12-25 in three sets. The Bulldogs outhit the Golden Tigers .307 to .024 percentage-wise to win their 18th match of the season.
In the afternoon match, the offensive struggles continued as Cumberlands won 21-25, 16-25, 13-25 in three sets.
Savannah Wilbanks led Brenau offensively with 26 assists on the day, while Savannah Combs notched 27 digs.
Brenau (2-12 overall, 1-2 AAC) continues their road slate against AAC foe St. Andrews (NC) College on Tuesday in Laurenburg, NC.
