Volleyball Falls In Road Conference Matches

The Brenau volleyball team lost a pair of Southern States Athletic Conference road matches as the squad fell to both Mobile and Loyola this past weekend.

After falling 25-19 in the first set against Loyola, the Golden Tigers struggled to find their offense as the squad lost 25-17 and 25-17 to drop the match.

Pam Konken had eight kills, while Carlee Praznik led Brenau with 11 digs.

In the final game of the road trip, the struggles continued as Mobile won 25-13, 25-22 and 25-14.

Savannah Wilbanks led the Golden Tigers with 19 assists, while Praznik added 15 assists.

Brenau (3-12 overall, 1-6 SSAC) next hosts Life (Ga.) University in non-conference match on Tuesday at 7 pm in Gainesville.
