Volleyball Adds Local Standout

The Brenau volleyball team announces the signing of Patience Thurmond to the 2016-17 team.

Thurmond is a local player from Gainesville, Georgia and a graduate of West Hall High School. She is daughter of Patris Hudson and Tiki Thurmond and also played club volleyball for Core3.

According to head coach Michael Carter, "Patience is an emerging talent and should be a great player for the Golden Tigers for years to come. At over 6' tall, she has a real physical presence and can be a dominant player at the net. I'm excited that she has chosen to become part of the Brenau family and have high expectations for her."

Thurmond, who plans on majoring in Accounting, is the second signee for the 2016-17 team.
