Volleyball Signs Waddell For 2015
Brenau volleyball announces the signing of Amber Waddell to the 2015-16 team.
Waddell, the daughter of John and Sandy Waddell, is a four year player from Forsyth Central High School in Cumming, Georgia.
During her freshman season, Waddell was selected as an All-County honorable mention. During her next three years, she was a first-team All-County team member and a 2014 All-Area selection.
Waddell also played club volleyball for ProLink VBC in Forsyth County, Georgia for the past six years and was a member of one of the most successful teams in program history.
"I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to attend and play at Brenau," said Waddell about her commitment. "I can't wait to see what the coming years have in store on and off the court."
Head coach Michael Carter noted his excitement at signing his latest player, saying, "Amber will be an excellent addition to the Brenau family, both on the court and off. She is a very skilled player in the back row, bringing great serving, passing and defense to the team. I'm looking forward to the next four years."
Waddell is the second signee for the Golden Tigers, which returns nine players to the 2015-16 squad.
