MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Sydney Koon of Brenau (Ga.) has been selected as the SSAC Volleyball Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. Koon led Brenau to an undefeated week to move to 9-6 on the year and 5-2 in the SSAC. The Golden Tigers handled Tennessee Wesleyan in non-conference play (25-21, 25-11, 25-16) before closing out a 3-0 week with wins over conference foes Faulkner (Ala.)
