On the second day of the
Faulkner Invitational, the Golden Tigers beat #25 ranked Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.),

named to the All-Tournament Team for her efforts, although the entire team
played extremely well. The Golden Tigers have proven that they can compete with
the best teams and are looking forward to the upcoming conference schedule.
"I am so proud of how far our team has evolved in the past five weeks, but we
have not come anywhere close to reaching our full potential yet. We will
continue to work hard towards reaching our goals of competing in the SSAC
Tournament and the NAIA National Tournament" says Head Coach Jeff White.
The Golden Tigers begin SSAC play this week with home matches against Faulkner
(Ala.) on Tuesday at 7 p.m., Loyola (La.) on Friday at 7 p.m., and Belhaven (Miss.)
on Saturday at 1pm. All of these matches will be at the East Hall Community Center.
