Brenau Volleyball Successful at Limestone Classic

The Golden Tigers volleyball team returned from a successful road trip to the Limestone Classic Tournament in Gaffney, SC with two great wins to show for their efforts.
To open the tournament, Brenau beat SSAC rival Southern Wesleyan University (SC) and followed that with a win against the host school, NCAA DII Limestone College. The Tigers closed out the 3 game tournament with a loss to NCAA DII Anderson University (SC) yesterday in 4 sets: 22-25, 25-17, 13-25 and 20-25. Brenau is currently 3-1 on the season.
Head Coach, Jeff White had this to say about the team's success following the two day tournament, "I am proud of the attitude and effort our team exhibited this weekend at the Limestone Classic in Gaffney, SC. We learned about our strengths and weaknesses and will use this knowledge to prepare our team for the upcoming conference schedule. I am pleased with where we are at this point in the season knowing, we have a lot of room for improvement."
The Golden Tigers will now turn their focus to their next match, scheduled for this Thursday against Spelman College, (GA). Match time is set for 7p.m. at the East Hall Community Center.
