Track Performs Well at Thrills in the Hills Meet
Atlanta, Ga.- The Brenau track and field team competed at the Emory Thrills in the Hills 2025 meet hosted by Emory (Ga.) University this past weekend.
The 4x400 meter relay team of Kyla Laurent, Kamille Dixon, Madison Kitson and Kamryn Chambliss placed fifth in a time of 4:00.66 while the 4x100 meter relay team of Jasmine Johnson, Gabrielle Grant, Kamryn Chambliss, and Kendra Martin placed 7th with a time of 49.30.
Individually, freshman Madison Kitson led the way with an overall 4th place finish in the long jump with a leap of 5.41 meters. Fellow freshman Gabrielle Grant also had a stellar performance with a 6th place finish in the 100 hurdles in 15.50. Freshman Jennaya Coucoules also added a 6th place mark in the heptathlon, and sophomore Jerrica Bryant earned a 5th place nod in the shot put with a throw of 12.02 meters.
