Kitson Earns All-American Status at NAIA Indoor Track Nationals
Sophomore Madison Kitson earned NAIA All-American honors for her performance in the long jump at the 2026 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships this past week.
In the opening round, the San Antonio, Texas native jumped 5.70m (18' 8), to secure her place in the finals. On her second attempt in the finals, she leapt 5.81m (19' 0.75) to earn a sixth-place finish and All-American status.
The All-American honors cap off a tremendous indoor season for Kitson, who was previously named as AAC Most Outstanding Athlete at the 2026 AAC Indoor Championships. She was also a four-event conference champion, winning the long jump, triple jump, 200 meter dash, and 400 meter dash, while also setting three school records during the 2026 indoor season.
