Ackermann Wins AAC Tennis Player of the Week

Waleska, Georgia - Freshman Emma Ackermann was named as the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Ackermann went 1-0 at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles against NCAA Division III Piedmont (Ga.) She won her singles match 6-0, 6-3 and then paired with teammate Kristina Radovic in doubles play for a 6-4 victory.

This is her first weekly award this season.
