Gainesville, Georgia- The Brenau tennis team won its fourth consecutive match with a 5-2 win over Berry (Ga.) College in a non-conference matchup on Friday.
In doubles play, the Golden Tigers earned the point over the visiting Vikings (3-7 overall) with wins at #1 and #3 doubles. The #1 pairing of Kristina Radovic and Emma Ackermann outlasted Berry's Sara Meija and Carolina Hanson 7-5, then the #3 team of Bryson Bishop and Nadja Noriega-Alcala rolled past Sydney Coppola and Charlee Eidson 6-2 to secure the point.
In singles competition, Emma Ackermann, Maëlys Perle Pigeonneau, Nadja Noriega-Alcala, and Manuela Giraldo each won their individual matches to take the team victory.
Brenau (7-4 overall, 3-2 AAC) gets back to Appalachian Athletic Conference play on Wednesday when the squad takes on Truett McConnell (Ga.) University (1-8 overall, 1-4 AAC) for a 2:00 pm match on Wednesday.
