Tennis Falls to TWU 6-1 in AAC Competition

Athens, Tennessee- The Brenau tennis team fell 6-1 to Tennessee Wesleyan University in an Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup on Wednesday.

After losing the doubles point, Brenau’s Shaloom Delgado Forero won a highly competitive match at #1 singles (7-6, 6-7, 1-0) to give the Golden Tigers a victory. However, the Bulldogs swept the other five singles matches to clinch the match.

Brenau (1-1 overall, 1-1 AAC) next hosts AAC foe Johnson (Tn.) University (0-0 overall, 0-0 AAC) on Wednesday at 3 pm at the Lessie Smithgall Tennis Center.
