Waleska, Georgia- The Brenau tennis team represented well in the 2023 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAAC) women’s tennis postseason honors, the conference office announced on Wednesday.

Freshman Yousra Hidass received 2023 AAC Freshman of the Year honors as well as being voted to the 2023 First Team All-Conference list for her performance in her inaugural season as a Golden Tiger.

Two teammates joined her on the 2023 AAC First Team All-Conference team as senior Bianca Andersen and junior MaryWynn Brannon were also honored by the conference. 

For Andersen, this was the second consecutive season of receiving first-team accolades after being named as a 2022 AAC First Team selection.

Freshman Kristina Radovic also received 2023 AAC All Freshman team honors.

Additionally, Bianca Andersen, MaryWynn Brannon, Sally Brannon, Shalom Delgado Forero and Sydney Patterson each were named to the 2023 All-Academic team. Honorees must have a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average and have achieved at least sophomore status.
