Tennis Defeats Point 6-1 in AAC Competition
West Point, Georgia-The Brenau tennis team rolled past Point (Ga.) University 6-1 in Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup on Tuesday.
The Golden Tigers again won eight of nine matches en route to the victory over the host Skyhawks (0-8 overall, 0-5 AAC).
According to head coach Andre Ferriera, “It felt good to win on the road today, especially in conference play. I was particularly pleased that everyone had a chance to play this afternoon - either singles, doubles or both. Everyone got a chance to compete and contribute to the result. We are looking forward to hosting Milligan on Saturday.”
Brenau (6-5 overall, 4-2 AAC) next hosts Milligan (Tn.) University (6-6 overall, 2-2 AAC) on Saturday at 2 pm.
