#7 Tennis Earns Sweep at SSAC Roundup

On the final day of the first SSAC women's tennis roundup, the #7 Brenau tennis team defeated Middle Georgia State College 9-0 to go undefeated over the weekend in Mobile, Ala.

After the Golden Tigers won all three doubles matches, #4 Paula Rives and #5 Snezhana Kiseleva (SO/Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia) won their respective matches to give the squad their fourth straight win.

"This was a great way to finish the first SSAC round up today," said head coach Andre Ferreira. "It feels good to win four conference matches in a row. The team was focused and competed well all across the board, especially at critical points in some games/sets/matches."

Brenau (4-2 overall, 4-0 SSAC) next plays on Monday versus #3 Xavier at 2 pm CST in Mobile.
