Golden Tigers Tennis Adds Two

Brenau Tennis announces the signings of Nathalia Bolivar and Patricia Recalde Pacuá to the 2014-2015 team.

Bolivar, a native of Cali, Columbia, is the daughter of Maria del Pilar Garces and Juan Carlos Bolivar.

A member of the Advance Tennis Team, Bolivar was a second place finisher in the 16-18 division of the Colombian Nationals.

An Interior Design major, Bolivar notes that her commitment to Brenau allows her to continue her love for tennis, while pursuing her academic goals.

"My interest in the athletic aspect is because the importance of tennis in my life; it has molded me as a person, taught me discipline and competitiveness, leadership, responsibility and perseverance," said Bolivar. "Brenau gives me the opportunity of combining my two passions: tennis and design.

Recalde Pacua is a native of Asuncion, Paraguay and the daughter of Miguel Recalde and Gloria Pacua.

When asked about her commitment to Brenau, Recalde Pacua said that, "Brenau has a very competitive tennis team and a fantastic location, as well as interesting interior design program".

The former Paraguan National Team member plans on majoring in Interior Design.

Bolivar and Recalde Pacua join five returning players from last year's #6 nationally-ranked squad.
