Seniors Celebrate with Convincing Win

Gainesville, GA -The Golden Tigers celebrated senior day on Monday afternoon with a convincing victory over College of Coastal Georgia 9-0.
In the last match of the regular season, seniors Lyn See Choo and Hannah Thompson improved their doubles record by winning at doubles No. 1 against Hunter/Polakovic 8-1. The seniors also scored two points for the Tigers in singles. Playing at the No. 1 spot, Lyn See defeated Sunshine Beba 6-2, 6-1. Moving up in the line up and playing No. 3 singles, Hannah Thompson defeated Kristin Polakovic 6-1, 6-2.
The other points for Brenau came at No. 2 doubles with Nagels/Perdomo-Medina scoring 8-4 against Beba/Holloway; No. 2 singles, with freshman Theresa Neumeyr taking down Elektra Hunter 6-0, 6-3; and No. 4 singles where Eline Nagels won 6-3, 6-0 over Victoria Holloway.
The Golden Tigers finish the regular season with a 11-4 overall record (5-1 SSAC). The team's next challenge will take place at the SSAC Tennis Championships in Montgomery, AL on April19-21st.
