Brenau Tennis Adds New Player

Gainesville, Ga. - Brenau tennis coach Andre Ferreira has announced the addition of a new player to his squad for the Spring 2011 season. Joining the team as of January is Stephanie Moniz, a freshman from London, England. Steph was born in April, 1991 and has been playing tennis since age 7.
Most recently she has been competing against the top British juniors at the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association). At 5-10 and being right handed, Moniz' best shot is her forehand. Besides tennis, Steph enjoys soccer and swimming.
"We are delighted to have Steph join our school and tennis program," said Ferreira. "She has been competing in the tough British junior circuit, bringing a good amount of experience and adding a powerful baseline game to our squad. She is also incredibly comfortable playing doubles, which is somewhat unusual among freshman players."
