Swim Competes in Shortened EC Quad Meet
Franklin Springs, Georgia- The Brenau swimming and diving team competed at the Emmanuel University Quad Meet on Friday.
Due to pending weather conditions, the team competed only on day one of the meet, so results were incomplete for the entire meet.
In the 400 medley, the team of Sophie Bell, Nele Behrendt, Francesca Pastori, and Abi Binns placed 2nd with a time of 4:13.51. The strong relay performances continued in the 400 freestyle relay as Sofia Bellocchio, Emily DiMaggio, Ana Alves, and Ariel Furhman placed 2nd, and the team of Nele Behrendt, Adriana Oetzel, Sylvie Jacques, and Lindsey Tatakis placed 4th.
In the individual events, the team had many strong performances at the meet, including:

The team now looks forward to the 2026 AAC Swimming and Diving Championships beginning on February 12th in Kingsport, Tennessee.
