Rose Commits to Swimming
Brenau swimming announces the signing of Anna Rose to the 2016-17 team.
Rose is a native of Mobile, Alabama and the daughter of Aimee and Michael Rose. While at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School, Rose served as the team captain, a Scholastic All-American and a four time individual and relay finalist.
Rose also swam for the City of Mobile Swim Association and head coach Greg Davis. During her time with her club, the standout was a national team member, Southeastern qualifier and relay finalist. Her personal bests include 58.43 in the 100 yard backstroke, 24.93 in the 50 yard freestyle and 53.32 in the 100 yard freestyle.
When asked about joining the #3 ranked Brenau swim team, Rose said, "Not only is Brenau a great school for me to receive my degree, but I know I will be pushed to become a better athlete and a person as well."
"Brenau has a great, positive atmosphere. I loved all the girls on the team and I cannot wait to start my journey as a Golden Tiger!"
Rose, who plans on majoring in Biology, is the first signee of 2016 for head coach Nate Rhoads.
