Jabbia Named ASC Swimmer of the Week

Mary Katherine (M.K.) Jabbia was named Appalachian Swim Conference Swimmer of the Week for her performance against Converse (SC) College.

The senior was a winner in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.11) and the 200-yard medley relay (breaststroke split of 32.44) which helped the #2 ranked Golden Tigers defeat the visiting Valkyries. Jabbia topped off her standout performance with a second place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (26.16) and a third place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (57.77).

Jabbia, a native of Slidell, Louisiana, was previously honored as 2015 NAIA All-American in both the 200-yard breaststroke and 200-yard medley relay.
