Brenau Swimming Completes Regular Season

Brenau University Golden Tigers swimming team competed at the Birmingham Crossplex, at a quad meet hosted by Birmingham Southern College.

The Golden Tigers ended their regular season meet schedule, placing second behind BSC and Darton, by a small margin.

Hannah Boudreaux of Lafayette, La., was the lone event winner, touching the 100 Fly (1:00.27).

Other impressive swims include Michelle Billeaud (Lafateyette, La.) 50 FR (25.36), Kathleen Rossi (Clearwater, Fla.) 500 FR (5:35), Mary Katherine Jabbia (Slidell, La.) 200 IM (2:21) and Lisa Portwood (Marietta, Ga.) 200 FR (2:05).

"This was a fantastic last meet for us leading into conference. It showed us some weak spots that need attention in our taper preparations" said Coach Bachman. "We will focus on being mentally tough and physically ready once championships begin."
