Brenau Swimming Dominates ASC Top Times

In the most recent Appalachian Swimming Conference top times report, Brenau swimming tops all conference opponents ranking No.1 in 4 of 5 relays and No.1 in 6 individual events, including the 100 BK, 1650 FR, 200 IM, 200 BR, 200 FLY and 400 IM. Among the individual events, Brenau ranked top 5 in every event.

In 2012, Brenau finished 6th overall, only to be knocked out of a top five finish - 18 points behind NCAA II Mars Hill College.

This season, newcomers Jabbia, Watkins and Rossi top the charts holding top 10 rankings. Veterans and top 3 finishers, Boudreaux, Billeaud and Portwood will lead the young team into championships, vying for a top 4 finish in February 2013.
"Seeing our team top the relay and individual rankings is a thrill and one these women have worked tirelessly for over the past 5 months. I believe our team has the potential to place top four at the ASC Championships and return home with conference titles and records" said Coach Bachman. "Our preparation for our end of season meets has been focused on coming together as a group, staying positive and being goal oriented. I'm very proud of the accomplishments so far this year and looking forward to many more."
