Kendrick Signs with Brenau Swim Team

Coach Bachman announces the commitment of Rachel Kendrick (Pineville, Louisiana) to the Golden Tigers Swim Team. Kendrick will join the 8th ranked NAIA swimming program in Fall 2012. A native of Layton, Utah. Rachel will graduate from Pineville High School with a 4.0 GPA and an accomplished athletic background in swimming, as well as cross country, tennis and soccer.

During her senior year, Rachel qualified for the LHSAA Division 2 Championships and received 2nd place in both the 50 and 100 freestyle. At Brenau, Kendrick plans to major in Biology and involve herself in extracurriculars geared towards marine biology.

"Rachel is a fantastic student-athlete, she joins Brenau Swimming witha multi- sport background that has given her variety and strength that will greatly benefit her efforts in the pool. I believe she will excel and add instant depth in the 50 & 100 freestyle sprint events. She has definite goals, ones that will have her striving to be a top competitor on the NAIA level,"commented Coach Bachman.
