Soccer Slips Against Columbia in Conference Play

Columbia, SC- The Brenau soccer team fell to Columbia (SC) College 2-1 in Appalachian Athletic Conference play on Saturday.

Itzel Rivera scored the lone Brenau goal in the first half, but the Golden Tigers were unable to find the equalizer in the second period as the host Koalas (4-2 overall, 3-1 AAC) hung on for the victory.

Brenau (3-4-1 overall, 2-2 AAC) next hosts Union (Ky.) College (2-5 overall, 1-2 AAC) for Homecoming next Saturday at 5 pm in Gainesville.
