Golden Tigers Drop Match to Reinhardt

The Brenau soccer team lost in a non-conference match against Reinhardt (Ga.) University (RV) 7-0 on Wednesday in Waleska, Ga.

Reinhardt scored their first goal in the 12^th minute and struck again in the 38^th minute to take a 2-0 lead into intermission.

After the half, the Eagles exploded for five goals, including one late goal, to cap the win.

Reinhardt outshot the Golden Tigers 24-17 for the match, while keeper Ashley Spring saved nine shots in the loss.

Brenau (3-3 overall, 0-0 SSAC) hosts non-conference opponent St. Andrews (NC) College on Saturday at 5:30 eastern in a final tune up before Southern States Athletic Conference play begins next week.
