Soccer Signs Jada Foor for 2015
The Brenau soccer team announces the signing of Jada Foor to the 2015-16 team.
Foor is a native of Kathleen, Georgia and a standout player for both Veterans High School and the Macon Soccer Club.
While at Veterans High School, Foor was a four-year starter on a team that captured four straight Region 2AAAA championships. Additionally, the defender helped lead her squad deep into the state playoffs, including a 2013 state semifinal appearance and a 2014 state runner-up place.
Individually, Foor was named as a 2013 2AAAA First-Team member and a 2014 2AAAA Defensive Player of the Year for her outstanding play.
As a member of the Macon Soccer Club, Foor played a vital role in her team winning the 2012 Atlanta Cup championship and the 2013 Athena "A" division.
Foor was also a member of the Beta Club and an avid volunteer in her community. She was an active volunteer in the adaptive physical education program at Veterans High School and also at the Friends of Perry Animal Shelter.
"We are very excited to add another quality defender to this year's team as we continue solidify this year's roster," said head coach Mike Lochstampfor. "She will likely have an immediate impact on how we defend and I am confident she will make significant contributions to our success in her first year. She has been an integral component on both her high school and club teams and I would think she will have a smooth transition to the college level."
Foor is the sixth signee for the Golden Tigers' soccer team for 2015-16.
