Tigers Halted in Hattiesburg

The Golden Tigers soccer team dropped a tough match to NAIA #2 ranked William Carey University in SSAC quarterfinal action on Saturday afternoon in Hattiesburg, MS. Despite playing otherwise stellar defense, the Tigers gave up two uncharacteristic goals to the host team early in the game at the 27th and 30th minutes of play.

Following the two scores, the Tigers settled in and began to gain more possession. Despite continued offensive pressure and getting more players into the offensive end of the field, Brenau couldn't find any attacking combination capable of scoring and lost their final match of the year 2-0.

Brenau closes out the 2014 season with an 8-8-2 overall record. More details to follow.
