Soccer Ranked #19 in First National Poll

In the first 2014 NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Poll of the season, the Brenau Golden Tigers were voted as the #19 team in the nation.

Braving a rigorous national schedule in the early half of the season, the Golden Tigers have faced three teams in the top 25 or receiving votes- #11 University of Northwest Ohio, #4 Cumberland (Ky.) University and #13 Northwood (Fla) University.

Brenau will face five more nationally recognized teams during the season, including four during Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) play.

SSAC members included in the first poll include #4 William Carey (Miss.) College, #9 Martin Methodist (Tenn.) University, #24 University of Mobile (Ala.) and Faulkner (Miss.) University (RV).

The Golden Tigers continue their tough early slate when they host Georgia Gwinnett College (RV) on Saturday at 7 pm eastern.
