Pairings Set for SSAC Women's Soccer Championship

Norcross, Ga. - The Southern States Athletic Conference women's soccer regular season conference games wrapped up on Saturday, October 27.
The games for the first round of the SSAC Women's Soccer Championship will be held at the higher seeds listed below. Game times to be determined by host sight and will be added to the website when received. The winners of these first round games will meet in Montgomery, Alabama for the Semifinal and Final rounds of the tournament on November 8 and 10.
No.8 Belhaven University at No.1 Lee University TBA
No.7 Truett McConnell College at No.2 University of Mobile TBA
No.6 Faulkner University at No.3 William Carey TBA
No.5 Auburn Univ.-Montgomery at No.4 Brenau TBA
- This is the ninth consecutive tournament that Lee comes in as the top seed.
- In the three years that Mobile has been a member of the SSAC, the Lady Rams have entered the tournament as the No.2 seed each year.
- William Carey's .818 winning percentage is the squads best since they joined the SSAC in 2010.
- Brenau's 17th rank nationally is the highest rank for the Lady Tigers going into the SSAC tournament.
- Three teams ended the regular season with a 4-7 SSAC record. The SSAC official soccer tie breaker was used to determine the 7th and 8th seeds. Truett McConnell was the first to set itself apart from Belhaven and Emmanuel to earn the 7th seed. Then, Belhaven narrowed out Emmanuel to earn the 8th seed.
