Tigers Bury Barons for 11th Win

Brenau came out strong- scoring two goals in the first 5 minutes of the match. Jenny Knibbs (Doncaster, England) began the scoring, getting on the end of a Kayla Madsen (Gainesville, GA) serve in the 42^nd minute and putting it away. Madsen was the recipient of the 2^nd assist, setting up Esther Anyanwu (Lagos, Nigeria) at the 41:10 mark. Madsen herself got in on the scoring when she took a Knibbs pass and slid her shot near post for the goal. Anyanwu got her second goal of the game- once again, from a Madsen assist in the 30 minute of play. Linda Chukwuji (Lagos, Nigeria) played a nice give-and-go with Anyanwu and put away her first goal of the game. The first half would end with the score of 6-0 and the combination of Madsen assisting Anyanwu for her third goal of the game and another hat-trick on the season.

The second half was once again domination by the home team as the Tigers put away three more goals and denied the visiting Lady Barons any real scoring opportunities. Anyanwu put away her fourth goal of the game in the 37^th minute- dribbling from midfield before tucking it away. Kirsty Smith (Doncaster, England) got in on the action- scoring two goals for Brenau- in the 27th and 17^th minutes of play. Chukwuji recorded the assist on Smith's second goal.
