Lisa Lesnick Named Golden Tiger of the Week

Gainesville, Ga - On the strength of her performances in two games last week, Lisa Lesnick (Surfside Beach, SC) has been named Golden Tiger of the Week for the week of Sept. 14-21. Lesnick recorded 24 saves in games against SCAD and #12 Embry Riddle last weekend at the SCAD Invitational.
Lisa is currently the second leading goalkeeper in the SSAC in saves with 52 on the season and she is tied for 20th in the NAIA in the same category. She is coming off an All Conference season in 2009 and has been a consistent factor for the Tigers defense in her career at Brenau.
"We can always count on Lisa to be there for us and she played exceptionally well last weekend against two quality opponents," said Coach Mike Lochstampfor. The Tigers will return to action today when they travel to Berry College for a 4:30 pm match.
