Golf Places Fourth at TWU Invitational

Niota, Tennessee- The Brenau golf team placed fourth in the Tennessee Wesleyan University Spring Tournament, played at Springbrook Golf and Country Club this week.

The squad placed fourth overall at the tournament, besting Roane State (Tn.) and conference rival Montreat (NC) College. 

Junior Morela Boyd continued her solid spring play with a +21 to tie with three other golfers to place in a tie for fourth place.  Freshman Emily Minish also had a nice showing with a 15th overall finish (+33). Freshman Lainey Addison added a T19th place mark (+39) and senior Harper Davis placed 23rd overall (+44).

Ave Maria (Fla.) won top team honors at the tournament, while Point (Ga.) and host Tennessee Wesleyan rounded out the top team finishers. 

The Golden Tigers continue the spring slate with a trip to the Northeast Tennessee Spring Shootout on Tuesday April 7th.
