Brenau Golf unveils Fall '25 schedule
Gainesville, GA. - Brenau Golf looks to build upon a solid first year under Coach Elam with an even better year two. The Golden Tigers will face an extremely competitive slate featuring three events in which they will be competing in for the first time.
In preparation for the fall conference preview, Brenau golf will travel outside of AAC play for all of September to try and compete against some of the best teams in the southeast.
Our women will once again battle for conference honors on October 22-23 in a two day, three round tournament at Governors Towne Club in Acworth, GA.
The fall schedule opens on August 28 when Brenau makes the short trip up to Clarkesville, GA to compete in the Apple Mountain Invite. "This is a great one-day tournament to open the season and will help our four freshmen get acclimated to college golf." said Coach Elam. This tournament will be hosted by AAC rival Truett-McConnell and is an individual only tournament. All six Golden Tigers will play in the event.
The week after Labor Day the team will travel to St. Simons Island and play in Coastal Georgia's fall event for the first time since 2020. Two weeks later Brenau will travel further south down to Lecante, FL and play in the Inaugural Battle at Black Diamond. "I wanted our Florida players to have a chance to play in a couple of tournaments closer to home. These two tournaments will be extremely challenging and will be good measuring stick to see where we are as a team moving forward." said Coach Elam.
The Golden Tigers will close out September by traveling to west Tennessee and playing in the FHU Invite hosted by Freed-Hardman. When asked about the fall season as a whole Coach Elam said the following: "This fall slate should give all of players a chance to compete and give us an idea who our top five will be moving forward into the Spring season." The Golden Tigers will start fall practice in mid-August in preparation for the fall season.
