Transfer Commits to Brenau Golf

The Brenau golf team announces the signing of transfer Niquole Mangal to the 2017-18 team.

Mangal, who began her collegiate golf career at Coastal Georgia, is a graduate of Lanier High School in Sugar Hill, Ga.

During her only season at Coastal Georgia, Mangal was named to both the 2017 SSAC All-Freshman team and the 2017 SSAC All-Conference team for her standout play. She was also selected as her team's most valuable player with a scoring average of 79.87 and was voted as an SSAC Player of the Week.

When asked about her commitment to Brenau, the standout noted, "I'm excited about attending and playing golf for Brenau! I want to thank Coach Stancil and the University for the opportunity to be close to my home and family."

Stancil noted about his latest signee, ""Niquole is a very talented player and will be an excellent fit for our team. She is an All-Conference level competitor that will be an integral part of the BU Golf team's continued growth into a championship caliber program. I'm glad she chose Brenau as her new home and I am very excited to see her perform as a Golden Tiger in 2017!"

Mangal, an accounting major, is the third signee for the 2017-18 team which returns five letter winners to the next year's squad.
